[Souvenir] Pebble-like Chocolates from Singapore

No, it’s not aquarium stone. Or some colorful pebbles.

It’s chocolates in the form of rock; a product from Daiana. This company is built by John, a Singaporean who have passion in food and chocolates. Daiana Chocolates is a young and aggressive company that expands its business to several countries like Asia, Middle East, Europe, and Northern America. John like to travel around the world, he reaches out to some of the best ingredients across the planet for his chocolates company. He uses premium cocoa beans from Ghana, the finest milk powder from New Zealand, and manufacturing technologies from Austria; all of those produce the premium and tasty chocolates Daiana sell. Well, that’s what their official website says.

Actually, I bought this product by myself when I went to Batam some days ago. In Asia, Rock Chocos are widely distributed in Singapore and Malaysia. But, Batam city is a free trading market, which located on strategic position to connect Indonesia with Singapore. That’s why, Batam is full of imported products from abroad, especially ones from the neighbour countries. And it’s cheap.

Taste and Visual

The Rock Chocolates are surprisingly delicious. The taste is different with standard chocolate. Probably it’s because the premium cocoa beans from Ghana, the finest milk powder from New Zealand, and manufacturing technologies from Austria like they stated?
The unique visual can be used to play your relatives for fun. Serve them some of these rocks in a glass on the table with tea, they’ll get confused thinking that you give them aquarium stones!
